PROJECT 5: A video about my school: Past, present and future.
Although we have a guide to do this project, our teacher has let us to make a free project. We can choose a educative theme and we must make a video about three or five minutes. Then, we have to fold the voice or subtitled.
INTERVIEW
PRESENTATION
José: Hi María Dolores, I have como to get an interview and first of all I would like that yo do a presentation for you.
Teacher: I'm María Dolores. I have spent 13 years working in this centre, the private school Jorge Juan in Monforte del cid and currently I'm working as a teacher of children. I have also worked in primary and I'm very happy in the centre in which I work here, in my town
QUESTION 1:
José: Well, then we will begin the interview if you agree with it. And first of all, I wouldd like to know which kind of methodology you use in your class.
Teacher: As a teacher of children, I hold a participative and active methodology where we pretend that children are, themselves, authors of their own projects, through play, and experimentation. It's a global methodology and we start always from centers of interest, but interesting to the student.

QUESTION 2:
Jose: What would you
like to do in your class that you have not done yet?
Teacher: Everyday I enjoy
everythinh I do, from first activity, is the assembly, this is the starting
point, to the last activity of the day, which is from 13:00 pm. to 14:00 pm.
and activities by groups.
But if I had to
say something, I would like to get out more in the most immediate environment
of the day. For example: excursions to the market, town hall, outpatient…
That may be an
obstacle when it comes to working with children because as we work with
youngster children and the excursions they always have to be very programmed
and very organized.
Then we thing
maybe one for each quarter, but if it is true that maybe we have to do more because
it is motivating for pupils.
QUESTION 3:
Jose: That things
have changed in the school a few years ago about now?
Teacher: Then above
all the implementation of new technologies.
We have digital blackboards, give us courses in
the Center, then we are as more jobs per day on this issue, It is also true
that things are now done as more in group, because all teachers as we are more
motivated by the work, and as that we do things more in cooperation, we make
more meetings and more tune.
QUESTION 4:
Jose: in regard foreing languages how would you introduce them in the school?
Teacher: Well, since children are 3 year old we have 2 sessions per week english class with a techear, who is reference figure and she speack at the moment enter to the class in english.

And then in 4 and 5 years old they have 2 sessions per week english class of
45 through the game, actions, from
the digital board…
And then in primary they have 2 sessions per week plus the hour of art Education and in second and third cycle they have 3 sessions per week plus the hour
of art Education
QUESTION 5:
Jose: How
could be improve the inclusion of English in the school?
Teacher: From my
point of view the English teacher must always speak in english. She has to be a linguistic referent, for example in infant education we have marta that is our english teacher. She goes to some classes as a support teacher
and she goes to different subjects in differetn hours of the day. She speaks Spanish or
valencian according to the subject, but if she only speak English instead of spanish or valencian in that subjects, kids will associate english to marta and they will always speak english with her, so they'll think that marta is their linguistic referent.
QUESTION 6:
Jose: Well, to finish the interview, i'd like to ask you a question that has an "open answer",
what do you think that is necessary to be a good teacher?
what do you think that is necessary to be a good teacher?
Teacher: Well i think that the magic potion doesn't exist yet, but well, i think that it s combination of a lot of things, starting with a really good dose of patience, and also a good dose of empathy with the kids, and above all you have to have proximity with the kids, because a good teacher is the one who knows how to impose itself and also be a friend and a classmate for the kids.
In childhood's education is to easy because children have you on an altar, you are the teacher and you are the most important, they love you so much, but in primary education it's a bit harder ,
because they have to get used to you, and you have to be closer to them.
The teacher has to be a good leader , a good intermediary and the most important thing is try to be their friend. You know how to be a teacher working over the years, you're not a good teacher the first time that you get into the class, the experience is always a good ally.
